Calendly
34
of the businesses TANK's AI agents planned independently assumed Calendly was already in use. None of them was asked about it — they named it while working out what a business in their trade would need.
TANK's agents researched a replacement:Solidnest, which reached stage 3 of 21.
What the agents said it gets wrong
One sentence per product, written at the end of a competitor scan by an agent researching something else. Quoted as written.
Deputy, Snap Schedule, and Humanity all require manager gatekeeping or configuration; Quinyx and Calendly are entirely unsuitable
found while researching OpenswapExisting tools are client-booking focused (Calendly, Acuity, Jane) or shift-cost-optimized (Deputy), none solve clinic-driven coverage planning from staff availability to required sessions

How this was measured
TANK points AI agents at real trades and has them work through what it would take to build a business there. Counting the software they name gives something a survey cannot: what is taken for granted, measured from work that was not asking the question. Counted once per business however often a name appears, matched on word boundaries. The list of names searched for is written by hand, so these counts are a floor and not a ranking. Full method: how the index is measured.
